Okay, let's get this party started! My first crafty feature are these adorable aprons made by Mrs. Obara from her blog A Little Bit of This and That! Wow, when I first read her name I had to do a double take cuz I thought it read you know who! Mrs. Obara, Mrs. O'bama...I'm just sayin'! Anyway Mrs. Obara has taken thrifty little tee towels, colorful ribbon and made super adorable no-sew aprons! These are so cute, and talk about thrifty, each one I believe breaks down to under $1 each depending on how much you pay for the tee towels! A cute apron under a buck? Check it out!
She started with tee towels from her local thrift store. You can also score these babies at the Dollar Store. Isn't this cuttlery theme adorable?
Then she glued on ribbon and trim in fun colors and textures using Liquid Stitch. Have I mentioned I love liquid stitch! Anything that keeps me from sewing with needles and thread...yeah, I love!
And here they are finished! They are smaller in scale which I like, but you could easily sew two towels side by side to make a larger apron.
Here's another cutie!
And this one below Mrs. Obara added ribbon up top to create a child's apron. Oh how my daughter would love this!
I think it's safe to say Mrs. Obara from A Little Bit of This and That is definatley one crafty chick, not to mention stylish and thrifty too! So give her a shout when you get the chance, and tell her I sent you. And one more thing...give her a big follow while your there as well, cuz in my book this idea is fabulous and she deserves it!

Jane- those are fabulous! tee-hee.
all kidding a side...I am so touched that you would feature these! I needed that pick-me-up today! I've been busy w/other frugalicious ideas and I promise to post more.
XOXO
I LOVE this idea! And, I love the tea towels she chose as well! I'm printing this one out. That is my new thing for 2010. It gives me who to credit and any info I need. This will be a great new feature, Jane, because I'm doing "practice" projects this year and whichever is fast, frugal and fantastic will be my Christmas gifts for this year.
These are too cute...I have to give the kiddie apron a try!! Thanks!
xoxo
