This is where I spotlight a fresh design trend we all know and love, but hate to pay the big bucks for. So sit back, relax and let me do the shopping because I'm on the lookout for fabulous finds...without breakin' the bank of course!

Today I'm featuring Bamboo!  When I think of bamboo one word comes to mind...texture!  And one of the best ways to incorporate texture into your home's decor is with the use of natural elements.  Our family room has a monochromatic design, meaning the colors are natural creams, tans and browns.  Yeah, doesn't sound too exciting does it?  But incorporating textured elements like bamboo shades, a sisal rug, and even green plants, has helped give the room warmth and interest.  And of course a monochromatic room can always use a pop of color!
