Holy Moly Frugalicious Friday was huge last week! 128 of you linked up and all I can think about is all the money we saved...Wahoo! I surfed the links all week-end and I saw fabulous finds, creative crafts and quality Diy projects...and I am lovin' all the inspiration! We've also got a winner to announce today as well. But first, here are my favorites from this fun day that's all about $aving!
Erika from Rose Colored Glasses linked up her fabulous Ladderback dining chairs revamp! Amazing but she scored these babies for just $5 each! Then she sanded, primed, painted and sealed...phew, I'm tired just thinkin' about it all. But look how great they are now with those tufted seats and contrasting fabric. One word here people...Beautiful!
Amanda at FrouFrouBritches shared with us her adorable monogrammed initial wall hanging. She attached fabric to a canvas with a staple gun, and then had it professionally monogrammed for another $6. This is so cute, and looks like she bought it from one of those high priced specialty boutiques...I love this!
Missy from The Little Green Bean linked up her fabulous headboard! However, this isn't any old headboard. This is a headboard repurposed from an old door she had in her garage! How cool is that? She painted this beauty a warm cream and then added a rich brown glaze. I love the number decals here as well as the cherished family photos that hang above.
This is so easy, I had to include this thrifty little idea. Stephie from Made by Stephie took this 99 cent milk glass candle holder and made an adorable cake plate. Yup, all she did was glue a white plate onto the candle holder with a little Gorilla Glue and done! Talk about simple, I love easy ideas like this...super cute and functional too!
Kristin from My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia shared with us her revamped console table and stools! She scored these babies on Craigslist and paid just $25 for all 3 pieces. Then she sanded, primed and spray painted them in classic black! Ahhh...don't these pictures look like their straight out of the Pottery Barn catalogue? I think I'm in love!
And finally Sandra from Stone Creek Market linked up her super thrifty Valentine's Day decorations. She printed this vintage Valentine's Day card free from the Graphics Fairy, and then simply taped it to this old book. This is a great idea for a little shabby chic Valentine's day decorating...on the cheap!
So that's a wrap! And to all my fabulous readers' who linked up on Friday, as always...Thank you for the linky love, you rock! Now it's time to announce the winner of the adorable burlap pillow that Trixie from Flea Market Trixie graciously offered for our giveaway! And so without further delay, using a random number generator, the winner is...
Maryann from Domestically Speaking!
Congratulations Maryann! Send me your contact information girl, so Trixie can ship this baby out! And thanks again to Trixie from Flea Market Trixie for the fabulous giveaway!
