Guest Blogger...Shaunna @ Perfectly Imperfect!

Wahoo...Shaunna from Perfectly Imperfect is in the house today!  Many of you know Shaunna...the girl has got some of the most amazing furniture transformations around!  Yup, she can take a beat up, old flea market find and make it perfectly BEAUTIFUL!  And she shares her furniture refinishing knowledge in plenty of tutorials too...love that!

If by chance you haven't yet met Shaunna, here she is...

Hey Finding Fabulous girls!
I'm so excited to be visiting from my blog, Perfectly
Imperfect
. I LOVE Jane's blog and am thrilled to be meeting
you guys! What an honor...she is such an inspiration--and so are you
guys! I stalk the frugalicious friday party weekly. :)

That's me up there, if you haven't
guessed....excuse the bum- around clothes--definitely junk shopping that
day.

As a matter of fact, I can usually be found
bargaining with someone over a piece of furniture. When I began my
blog, somehow my hobby turned into a business, and Perfectly Imperfect
Restoration was born! There's nothing better than taking some one's
cast off (or bargain I can snag) and turning it into treasure for someone
else! I juggle it around a 3 1/2 year old and a 10 month old,
but somehow it all works out!

Speaking of work, I think you guys
over here love a good furniture transformation, so here's a few of my
recent projects:

Meet Darla. Yes, I named her.
This is her ugly duckling phase...complete with fuzzy (glued-on)
leopard. Yikes.

Here she is after:

I love how it turned out! Did I
mention I refinish, not re-upholster?? So, I think I would have been
happy no matter what! I did a full tutorial for those who want to give it a shot. This
one I'm keeping for me for my writing room...you can check out more of our
attic renovation here if you'd like.

Love these vintage magazine tables and
coffee table. Go here to see their
transformation!

When I'm not refurbing for others, you can
find me recreating things for our home, like this antique gossip
bench.

I just dropped this dining suite off to a
client last week....this one was work! I stripped and
re stained the top and painted and glazed the legs and chairs. I love
this look!

And just because I'm feeling generous (and
just a little over anxious to start revealing our attic addition :), here's
a sneak peek of the newly finished playroom:

I hope you enjoyed my random-ness....thanks
so much for having me over, Jane, and Fabulous fans!! I'd love to
have you over at Perfectly
Imperfect
, so stop by and say hi! So nice to meet you, :)

You are welcome Shaunna...THANK YOU for sharing your fabulous projects!  Wow, I knew you were good at refinishing furniture, but I had no idea you do this for a living...impressive!  You are such an inspiration and thank you for sharing your projects and furniture refinishing wisdom!

Love seeing what Shanna is up to! She does a great job on the furniture pieces, but I also love the books she's altered with scrapbook paper and embellisments.
