Kate Spade...tee shirt revamp!

   I absolutely love designer clothing knock-offs!   I mean who wants to pay a ton of money for clothes when (if your handy with a sewing machine) you can revamp em' yourself...for a whole lot less!Isn't this $200 Kate Spade Tee-Shirt fabulous?  But at that price...yeah not so fab.

Brittany and Lindsey from Pintucks and Ruffles created their own version using a long sleeved tee-shirt.  They simply removed the long sleeves, and used this fabric to create the ruffled flower.

   Wow, I never thought I'd use the words...LOVE and Ironing Board in the same sentence.  But hey... I LOVE THIS IRONING BOARD COVER!  And with this cutie, I'm thinkin' the dull task of ironing may just be a little more fun.  Okay maybe not....but hey, a girl can dream ;) Katy from Sweet Verbena sewed this cover using fabric she already had on hand.   Don't you love a project that doesn't require buying anything new?  Okay, go here to see how Katy created this one of a kind ironing board cover that may just inspire you to get your iron ON!

Simple Mirrored Nightstands!

   I love this simple idea!  Cassie from Primitive and Proper took two dark wood nightstands and painted them a fresh yellow.  Then she had two mirrors custom cut to fit her table tops.  Now her tables are protected from water marks, and the mirror adds a little sparkle and shine...to otherwise plain jane tables!   I just have to show you the After first cuz it's just so darn cute...

   Today I am lovin' these jewelry display frames from Cat on a Limb!  Ahhh, functional, stylish and thrifty...three of my favorite things!

A Pottery Barn Knockout!

  Ahhh, there is nothing better than a good ole' Pottery Barn Knock Off!  And this version of PB's Eagan Mirror is simply one of the best I've seen.  Amanda from A Creative Beginning made this beauty using beveled 8 x 10" mirrors, plywood, trim moulding, and Rustoleum's Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint.
